The Theatre of Mimicry and Gesture in Moscow opened in the 1960s and is often called one of the world's first professional Deaf theatres. The actors perform mainly in Russian Sign Language, with spoken Russian interpretation, so Deaf and hearing audiences can enjoy it together.
