Luis Fernando Esquerra is deaf and was the first accredited deaf tour guide in Mexico. He works for San Luis Potosí's municipal tourism office and leads tours of the Palacio Municipal and historic centre in Mexican Sign Language, and has also guided visitors in ASL.
