The Kaunas branch of the Lithuanian Deaf Society runs a deaf centre with services in Lithuanian Sign Language, art and craft clubs, lectures and cultural events. In 2026 its project 'Tylioji Kauno istorija' (The Silent History of Kaunas) offers talks on the city's history.
