Hessischer Verband für Gehörlose und hörbehinderte Menschen is the deaf association for Hessen and a member of the Deutscher Gehörlosen-Bund. It brings the local deaf clubs together, works for German Sign Language (DGS) and deaf people's rights, and runs events for the Deaf community.
