Gonketa (Jaycob Campbell) is a Deaf artist from Melbourne, born deaf with Auslan as his first language. Hands come back again and again in his work because they stand for his language, and in Rainbow Alley he painted "The Handshapes no.1" in his bold colours inspired by manga and street art. The laneway is right in the city centre, so it is easy to reach on foot. He also has a mural with Auslan handshapes in Highlander Lane.
