One of São Paulo's six municipal bilingual schools for deaf students, Aclimação, close to central São Paulo; the oldest unit, founded as the city's first educational centre for deaf children (1. Núcleo Educacional para Crianças Surdas). Teaching is in Libras, with Portuguese taught in written form.
